Hello! So I already have a GTX 980 equipped PC and wanted a secondary device which is a gaming laptop for when I occasionally am on the go. The PC has a 2TB HDD which stores all my games and a 256GB SSD for the OS. Should I buy a gaming laptop that has a 1TB HDD for games ONLY or should I find/customize laptops to also have an SSD. If you answered that I should also go with an SSD, then which size should I get, a 128GB SSD or 256GB SSD? Thanks!

@Ravedous get a laptop with HDD and replace it with 1TB SSD yourself. FWIW good 1TB SSD costs $200-$250.
