We should make sticky threads for processors where people share their tips.

How does everyone feel about making this a sticky? Is the guide developed enough that the community feels it can represent our first page?

Might as well but what about the combo code?
That's been a big sticking point because i dont know if this was fixed in the GT75VR (personally I don't think it is) but you could make all versions of the GT73VR / GT73EVR permanently black screen if you do a certain sequence of switching from dGPU->iGPU->dGPU after certain reboots, although the only 100% confirmed way EVERY time is to set spread spectrum to 0% and THEN do it.
And don't get me started on the IA AC/IA DC Loadline setting

But Paloesco's thread still works along with FPTW64

Probably a good point to make it sticky, since the followings aren't really posted or at least not well explained in any articles available through google search, here are my reasons:

    1. The ability to set the C-state in Windows - Explains the role of CFG Lock in the BIOS, nice to have since most articles online don't really explain what this option really mean for us.
    2. Unlock the minimum multiplier down to 8 in the Turbo Ratio Limits - I believe it's the first time someone has posted something like this.
    3. Make the way the Speed Shift to work as it should be - The relationship between Windows EPP and ThrottleStop EPP isn't well explained through the result available from the google search.
About the unlocking code, this thread is only useful for who has found the code or have the courage to ask for it or has done it through other way, to avoid a result of increasing number of bricking, the current way is probably good enough :D.

Yes I think that black screen issue is only fixable through BIOS which is a pity of what MSI left to us.

Will think about it a bit more, specially regarding the code to see what could be the best approach.

Feel free to post the combo here, and just make sure to keep saying as a warning that users are responsible for their actions ;)
