Added the following reminder to Chapter 2: Unlock the minimum multiplier down to 8 in the Turbo Ratio Limits.

    • Please note that even-though the multipliers you have set are well below the Non-Turbo limit, you still need Turbo to be enable to work those multipliers.
    • No 4 Battery mode.PNG

@hackness found this very useful for Exporting and Importing .pow as well as renaming them and unlocking Ultra Performance under Windows 10 (I have not played with Ultimate Performance extensively YMMV - I did not find noticeable difference than in my current custom powerplan)

    Importing/Exporting Powerplan
    Renaming Powerplan
    Deleting Power Plan
Unlocking Ultimate Performance power profile in Windows 10

What I do is backup all my .pow settings to OneDrive and upload after tweaking or reformatting.

Power plan Importing/Exporting would really come in handy, nice find!

I've also tried the Ultimate power plan last year when I started using Bitsum's Process Lasso Pro, came across that when I was reading on their article site. ;)

I use their Lasso pro software mainly for auto memory trimming, force CPU affinity and priority, I/O Priority and memory priority for some programs I don't want to share that much resource to.

Nice piece of software they made.

My powerplan for i7-8750h GTX 1070 aptly named "MSI GS65".

Contains some of your suggestions with my personally modified EPP and some of the power saving recommendations from -Che0063 power saving guide.

I will need to run the PCMark 8 battery benchmark again to see how it performs with all the tweaks again.

With all the tweaks you guys are making, its making me want to try some too... I suppose tweaking a power profile for maximum battery life would be interesting.

Has anyone figured out how to get static voltage settings to stick? I much prefer static voltage, as you can't be 100% sure the CPU isn't spitting errors otherwise.

I have a MSI GS65 with the 8750H and if I set static voltage, it lowers the voltage, but not to the number I set it to. There is also a ceiling on how low I can go before it stops having any effect.
