Hello, i have a problem with my sli setup everytime i try to install the driver with the default card plugged my screen turns off ( not just black ) and when i try safe mode and then to ddu and reinstall i have tried 3 different drivers and also the one included in the clevo website the same issue occurs. And each time the computer reboots it posts normally and i see the loading screen normally in the normal resolution but the second the login screen try to appears i just dont see it the screen flickers and goes off again, but it boots normaly to safe mode.

However when i swap the card slots it boots with the 2014 driver and both cards detected and can even modify it and, but no sli option in the control panel and when i try a newer driver only one card is detected on the control panel but the two detected in gpu z and device manager reporting code 43 and revision FF instead of A2.

However working with one card with the latest drivers seem to work in games and stable.

I have tried reseting the cmos, installing vbios updating system bios and reinstalling windows freshly and nothing worked, can anybody tell me whats going on with my card? Im pretty sure its not hardware related but its something wrong with the software im not sure about that though any help would be appreciated

So how does the system behave with just the first card in the first slot and just the second card in the first slot?

With the first card it behaves normal and boots up with one card detected in drivers, but with the second card i get to the bios screen i see the windows logo screen and then just when the spinning wheel stops to go to the login page the screen turns off no back lighting nothing no signal at all and i can sense my pc is running in the background because of the keyboard led change (hotkey software)

Note that when i boot into windows with the second card without a driver it boots normally and when i try installing driver it gives me the unplug sound like normal but screen goes off and when i let the driver finish the installation i give it 10minutes i try to press power button to restart and i get till the windows 10 loading screen and before it goes to login screen it freezes and turns off and pc is always running because i see that hotkey ran in the background and changed my backlit color why does it work without a driver and doesnt work with a driver

The 2nd card is dead most likely.

i guess its a power issue with the card and its not receiving power enough i guess one of the vrms burnt or a mosfet

Or its causing a short or the core has a bad transistor (when the driver is not loaded the CPU is rendering the image and the gpu is just a pass through).
