Yesterday morning, I pushed power button on my GT80 computer. Nothing came on. I read about doing an EC reset where to unplug power, hold power button down for 12 seconds and then plug power supply back in and power up computer. I tried with no success. I left computer unplugged overnight and noticed this morning that the blue colored power indicator light was on while computer was not running. So, I tried EC reset again with no success. Have others experienced this kind of issue and please explain to me or point me in the right direction to get my computer running again. Thanks so much.

Obviously a call to MSI might net you the best information. All I can offer is that to really reset your machine you may have to remove the battery as well as unplug it from A/C. Remove A/C and the battery for 20 minutes, say, plug the A/C back in and see if that does it.

Some MSi models also have a EC battery reset button on the bottom of the laptop. You would need a paperclip to hold it down.
