When did you get that e-mail?
Ming e-mailed me on 7/17: " And we are completely out of the Yellow Highlighted models in the chart."

7/28/17. Which model did they offer to you?

You can always choose a different OS, you can also wait for the next generation next year, probably the best time to jump into their trade-in program.

MQ-crippled is everywhere (ASUS, MSI, Alienware, Clevo, etc.) spreading like the plague, so laptop manufacturers are only taking advantage of the new crippled technology, and the people who buy into their bullsht.

And I gotta agree with you on that last part, how can they make promises and breaks it at the end? But then again they are not the only one that continues to be a scum, there's Razer and Alienware who are two big daddies of scums.

Funny how on the GT73VR Titan -> Pro they upgrade everything but downgrade the CPU. Sure its worth the $250 upgrade going 1070 -> 1080 as well as storage and ram but HK -> HQ.. nahh

Feels like another GT72 -> GT72VR.. next true upgrade from the GT73VR would probably be the GT75VR

The only slight upgrade that I see from GT75 is the screen (3/ms) and the keyboard, they also dropped G-sync feature, so spec is almost identical to the GT73 and the upgraded GT75 is expensive as hell.

Yeah, hopefully by the end of the year/early next year they'll have next gen nVidia GPUs, maybe a Ryzen variant 6/8 core and also 8K series Intel CPU.. I do wanna see a Z370 6 core equivalent as well. I'll probably just get another desktop for that but if the price is right i wouldnt mind upgrading one more time.

A ryzen variant GT73/GT75 would be amazing. I am an AMD fan but sadly AMD had a tough time bringing competitive performance, specially on laptops.

I'm going to use my last upgrade when 6-core CPUs and Volta come out next year.

Microsoft has blocked updates on new CPUs. I am not putting money on another laptop that lacks basic support from M'soft for any OS other than W10.
