Oh well correct me if I'm wrong but if these even use the same heatsinks I'm pretty sure that this is quite easily achievable. All one would have to do is buy one of these eurocom upgrades and stick them into their gt72, right? The nvidia drivers would automatically recognise the hardware. The only thing that would be a problem is the vbios...

That begs the question why nobody has tried this yet.
Aren't the orders returnable if they "don't work" or were "accidentally" ordered for the wrong computer?

I have a GT72S and it clearly states up-gradable MMX module.

I can post a picture if anyone wants.

Actually I can't understand why Eurocom itself (or any other retailer) hasn't tried this yet. Wouldn't that be just easier for everyone?
Or maybe something/someone stops them from trying? I'm very curious about that...

To use the MXM board in the Eurocom machine and in the Clevo, I'm guessing there is somewhere to connect the 'mod' wire needed to get it working. I'm guessing the existing GT series don't have a connection for said mod wire.

Basing my guess on the above.

The "green mod wire" is on the MSI 1070 MXM card... the MSI MXM card gets the mod, there's no hardware to be changed on the Clevo/Eurocom laptop.

As to what if anything needs to be modded on the MSI Pascal MXM GPU's to work on our GT72's / GT80's, I think MSI can figure that out :)

Patience has nothing to do with this.

If a business sets a date, is it wrong to expect them to keep it? Now, how should one feel, if this entity misses the date 3 times?

I like the idea of getting a new computer with better CPU cooling... Just not for that price...

Exactly what date did they set? The only specific date I see is the 31st for the form to be in. I'm thinking they are waiting for more forms to be submitted. To me, when they say starting next week, that means some people get a response some don't. Unless I'm missing something here?
