GT683R vs G53SW vs ?

    Looking for a powerful gaming/multimedia laptop. I'm interested in the MSI GT683R and ASUS G53SW, so I'd appreciate some opinions about which is better overall (build quality, gpu specs, etc). If you can suggest any others with similar specs and in the $1000-1500 range then please do so :D

    I would go for the Asus just because it looks better. Doesn't break down as easily. Think Sager is similar to Asus for around that budget.

    I would try to find a Clevo reseller that still has the 6970m in stock. That is the most cost efficient performance card out there today.

    Thanks guys. I'm trying to decide between the g53sw and the Sager 8150..I like the asus for the design and the backlit kb, but I'm just afraid I'll get one of those units with the faulty power button..does anyone know if this problem is only with the newegg model?

    If you have no intent on a 6970m, get the NP8130.
