When I connect a HDMI cable to the HDMI port I notice it uses the egpu instead of the igpu. Could this mean the HDMI and mDP are connected to the egpu and could it be possible the mDP supports gsync to an external gsync monitor? Anyone knows for sure? ;-)

That's GPU direct connectivity, not Intel.

Does this mean the mini-displayport supports g-sync if I connect a g-sync monitor to it?

If I recall it's just like regular DP but smaller.
