Thanks! I'll try my luck at getting a P5000 that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg... just maybe a hand... :p

Which version of nvflash specifically? I remember each gen Kepler, Maxwell and I believe Pascal as well should have different versions of nvflash that works for them.

Could you confirm if the upgrade was done to an LVDS motherboard or an EDP?

Pascal only supports eDP. If it works with the M6700, it will require either Optimus enabled or the IPS display.

Just the latest one, version not remembered. Works only under windows command prompt, not under pure dos environment. Use admin.

    nvflash64 --list
See what index number is listed, i.e. <0>
    nvflash64 --index=0 -6 ROM_NAME.rom

If not using Optimus, the screen may go blank during flash and you won't see the prompt to press "Y" to continue. In this case u have to press Y in blank.

Can you point us to a link to the latest version? Or is it possible to upload it here?

I did a search in the NBR forums and found the link below:

    https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/

    NVIDIA NVFlash 5.449.0
    April 27th, 2018

Can you check if your version is similar? I just secured my own P5000! So can't wait for it to arrive and install in my M6800 to replace my GTX980M! :)

Do we know if Pascal runs on both eDP port versions? AFAIK there is newer 30pin and older 50pin, does it make any difference?

    Those are great news.
Could you tell us where did you source the card from?
Also could you create a tutorial ?
    Thanks

I managed to snipe one from fleabay by using the "Best Offer: Make Offer" option. The price offered by the seller was already quite alright and I just tried to see how low the seller is willing to go.

What tutorial are you talking about?
