I ordered one. Should be here in a week. Hoping to run Adobe Muse and CC Animate on it. And maybe a little Roblox with my wife and daughter ;) Wish it had a micro SD slot. Would have been a deal breaker if I didn't have a synology NAS.

for the price and seeing the specs it´s a great deal

sony vaio p was out in the market for 1500 dol with bad specs but witth the best mini laptop design ever

i only don´t like the keyboard in the gpd pocket, it could be a lot better, it looks like one of those old agendas, but all the rest looks great

but i will not buy right now, lot of people that are receiving are complaining about software/hardware problems

It arrives today. Gonna install Creative Cloud and GTA V to test it out proper.

OK. Its here and I'm using it. You cant help but to be blown away by it. There's a lot to like! I love the clicky chiclet keyboard keys and the extra tight and smooth display hinge. The build quality is right up there with Apple and Microsoft. You must see it in person to appreciate it. Pictures don't cut it. It may just be the sleekest little device Ive ever seen. So far Ive installed Creative Suite and VLC and both work fine. You have about 100GB of storage after Windows is done with the 128GB. The screen pops and the 1080 res is so sharp. It also has zero LED light bleed too which I find to be very rare. My initial impression is that they knocked it outta the park. This is just my first impression and while there are a few things missing like a camera, Micro SD, and backlit KB, I really don't care. This thing is just awesome. More to come.

If you guys liked UMPCs when they were out in the 90s and 00s then you will absolutely love this machine. I'm about one week in with it and I cant say enough good things about it. It picks up where UMPCs fell short: power and battery life. I can edit a logo in Adobe Animate CC and update my website in Dreamweaver and Muse but I can do it just by reaching in my pocket and using this guy! Saving drone and camera footage in the field has been awesome! The fan kicks on under load but is very quiet and the unit gets warm - not hot. Ive had Fujitsu 810, OQO, Flipstart, Viliv N5, S6, and Sony UX280. All had their compromises and all were frustrating to use at times. This experience is nothing like those. Everything is smooth and silk.

How do you find typing on the keyboard with its awkward layout?

I've always been a fan of hyper-portable computing and actually used to flog UMPCs for a tech store way back when. We even sold the Viliv N5!

I really don't find it hard at all. The keys are a little different but they are spaced out which makes a difference. Its totally serviceable. I'm just glad someone is making a small usable PC. I love that it charges via USB C. My phone charger in my cars port can charge it. Plus you can use a usb battery to charge it.

still to bad comments in https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/...aptop-ubuntu-or-win-10-os-laptop--2#/comments

some units come defective, others have others problems....

about design i just don´t like those black keys, grey or even metalic grey keys like vaio p will be serial killer

but the specs of GPD Pocket are just so good

i will buy it one day, but for now will be observant about new comments
