good laptop with gtx 1060 (1000-1200)

    Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

    yes, the cheaper, the better

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
    bit of gaming, programming, a little bit of photo/video editing

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
    yes, but i don't care if it's big.
    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
    manly fps/ rts or city builder.

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
    doesn't really matter

    10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?

    linux and w10 are ok

    Acer Aspire v17 with 1060.

    But in case you are going to use it at home mainly why are not you considering 15'+external monitor? You could buy 7577 Dell + great and decent monitor.

    the 7577 has bad thermals, at least from what i've heard.
