Ordered the GIGABYTE P35X v4-CF2 today, should be coming soon wish me luck. Any tips on what I should do when I first load it up? Any drivers or softwares that need to be downloaded?

Do a small number of Windows updates at a time, and reboot after every driver updates. This requires a lot of patients, but too much of updates at once will most likely to cause crash or stuck at booting, or looping.

If installing Windows 10 from scratch one needs Intel Chipset software, Gigabyte SmartManager, and driver for Realtek CardReader. That's it to have everything operational. I am not sure one needs Intel RST if not building RAID. Drives are already AHCI and running at 6Gb/s.
