Sub-woofer is attached to the back cover, hence it is not in the picture. The small white connector to the right of the lower RAM module is connector for the sub-woofer.

    hi all,

I bought the P35 v2 as well yesterday in SG so just to share briefly my experience.

    Likes
    - Really good screen
    - Large trackpad ( not glass smooth as Macs but good enough)
    - Plenty of storage options
    - Easy update utility

    Dislikes
    - VERY LARGE charger ( unfortunately my universal charger doesn't seem to have the right pin for it)
    - Battery 3 hrs max at 50% usage with medium usage (non-gaming)
    - Keyboard layout... num pad wastes precious space. Prefer full size keyboard instead.
    - Graphics Speed - not as fast as i thought. At 1080p,
    - Bioshock High 45 fps
    - Sleeping Dogs High 60fps
    - Thief High 27fps !!!
    - Diablo 3 10 fps ?!! (apparently some driver issue causing Integrated Graphics to be used)

What about heat and noise? Is it as 'bad' as its smaller brother the P34G v2?

Heat very well managed. Didn't come across burning areas. The fan even at Max is softer than my old MacBook Pro. No issue at all.

Hey, So im looking at getting this laptop now that its in Aus.
The model thats here currently is the dual 128 SSD. Just wanted to check, does this then also still allow for a 1tb HD to be put instead of the ODD?
And how "Hot Swappable" is that setup? Once installed does the HD have to stay in the laptop?
Last thing, If i was to get the 1 SSD model, would i then be able to install a 1tb HD along side it? or better off getting the HD then putting in a SSD?
    Thanks.

What is the battery life when web surfing / text editing and so on? How loud are the fans during light usage? How good is the display?

I have a question for the p35 owners.

Could you please tell me the exact weight of your laptop without the ODD ? Do you have one or two SSDs ?
Gigabyte is claiming 2,16 kg which seems wrong regarding the many different reviews on internet.
