    Also, doesn't that have the 4 cylinder Toyota engine that sludges up?

    If the lady still owes $2200 on the 15 year old damaged Toyota, how much did she pay for it originally?


    Now a 20 year old 454 Suburban I'd have no problem paying $2000 for :) ... Infact, if I could have one that wasn't rusted to pieces for $2000 I would cut a check today for it.

    Any links to show sludge problems?

    The damage is very little, she said she hit a mail box, I believe it from the damage I saw.

    I think I am going to get it, then get some body shop est.

    My goal........murder it out >:)

    Already priced some parts for it, gonna get the body work done first. The parts wont be much over 500, and install/flat black all around, less than 1k.

    So all in all, not so bad.

    Unless you find where sludging was an issue with this 2.2 engine :p

    If this is the car you really want, offer $1250 or walk. http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pri...uizConditions=2;1;2;0;0;0;0;0;1;1;0;1;1;0;0;2 If she is wanting to to get a new car to replace this one, a dealership would laugh at her request for $2000. (or pretend to give her 2 grand, but just jack up the difference on the new car)

    Edit: If your willing to spend 4 grand total, you can find a 2000 Town car with less than 100,000 miles for that price (if you look real hard and offer cash). Granted, it won't get the milage of a Toyota, but as little driving as you do, it won't make a big difference either, and the Town Car is good for another 100,000 miles easy.
