So when plugged in, the laptops I've used will drain a bit and keep the battery between 90-99%. The GE75 though stays at 100%. This is with Dragon Center installed or not. It goes below 100% only when unplugged.

When installed, Dragon Center gives me 3 options. Max charge 100%, 80%, 50%, and it stays at any of the values I choose unless I unplug the chord. Is this normal behavior?

I used the battery calibration app, reinstalled the battery stuff on device manager, latest updates on bios/windows/drivers/etc.

Strange, when I install the battery calibration tool on my GT75 Titan, the charge never exceeds 94-97% and it says in the taskbar (plugged in, not charging) as to not overcharge the battery and deteriorate its battery life.

Try depleting your battery to 20% then have it charge back and see if it stops at 94-97%

Could be a change in battery management method. Older ones floated their charge, it's possible these just maintain instead.

My issue solved itself, it's losing battery % while plugged in. At 96% now. I just let the laptop sit by itself without turning it off. Woohoo!
