Hey yall, the question's a bit long so bear with me guys. So Im looking into buying a gaming laptop soon and Im stuck with a few options with budget that is limited, my first budget range that I can afford and the one that most probably suits me is $1600-1750 (I'll call this bracket A), following are the links with their specs available:

    https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/pdp/spd/alienware-17-laptop/dkcwcflg011
    https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...re-m17/spd/alienware-m17-laptop/wnorn7chm171h
    https://www.xoticpc.com/msi-gl73-8rd-010.html
    https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RGB-012-94-NTSC-i7-8750H-Aluminum/dp/B07CCPSBB6
    https://www.xoticpc.com/msi-ge75-raider-050.html

The second one, bracket B, is a price range that I dont wanna go in as I will have to get that money from somebody else. Now I can do that only if there is something of real quality there, in this bracket i have only one laptop:

    https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/pdp/spd/alienware-17-area51m-laptop/wnser7cr5101h

Now once u have had a look at them and hopefully compared them :D u will be able to see the slight differences here and there in bracket A, those slight differences are confusing me a lot in as to what to buy, is MSI better or the Alienware, if MSI then which one, if not, then why Alienware, I have seen reviews for them and most of those are positive, the new Alienware m17 series is a compact series and that fact cant be ignored but it also has the new RTX series 2060 card, at the same time ppl have been saying that it doesnt live upto the GTX 1070 in the older Alienware series. Also there is a hi res display in the older Alienware edition. From all the learned ppl here I wanna know the differences between these 2 models, pros and cons, haves and have-nots, and also the 3 models mentioned for MSI, as they have the same differences among them as the Alienware ones. Based on these differences I would also like to know personal preferences and what are the basis for those, may ur answer be short any opinion is welcomed :)

For the bracket B it is just a new single option that Im looking into as the future looks promising for it in light of upgradable components (some are still not confirmed), the built quality of course and longevity. Is it really what someone should look into now or should we give it time ?

    Thanks in advance
P.S. I have also opened up a poll on top if u guys fancy that ;)
