OK after comparing scores, I'm getting really worried that my 3D Vantage score is only 6082 compared to other's with the dv6t-6100. It's already too late for me to return it, but do you guys think I should try getting a repair? If so, I don't even know what to say to them...because I doubt that would care what the benchmarks are

Don't switch while it is running? You mean make sure all apps are closed before switching? Or is there some method to switch while the machine is off?

Mine used to do this. I disabled one of the sound devices and it went away (The communications one). Hope this helps.

nope. didn't overclock my dv6003tx. my brother has dv6035tx. and what do u mean the newer quad edition dv6t? if by that u mean the 6100 series, then no i don't have those models. i basically grabbed the LAST dv6003tx that they had...cos i was pretty intent on getting the manual switchable graphics

Does the anti-aliasing make a noticeable difference in quality?

Either way, 40 FPS with all settings maxed out is pretty damn good for a $1k machine.

Where have they gotten higher framerates? I'm not reading back through this whole thread.

In the OP, it says 55 FPS with 1366x768.

MW2 still has pretty good graphics by 2011 standards. The original Crysis came out in 2007 and it still looks pretty impressive.

Is that 40 fps all maxed on 1920 x 1080?
