    how is the go 6600 future proofing wise..i mean can it handle games at low-med resolutions for 3 years...

    also can u tell me wut fps i can expect in games like hl2, halo, far cry

    the 6600 is good for future proofing because, some of them have MXM which allows you to upgrade the video card at a later date. Nvidia isnt very optimized for HL2 so the FPS isnt going to be as good as an ATI card, but it should be reasonable depending on the resolution and amount of detail.

    Just make sure your notebook supports MXM (call up the manufacturer) because MXM is optional and isn't supported by every company.
