Has anyone here replaced their wireless module on the ASUS G73? If so what did module did you replace it with? Is there anyway I can find a higher quality LAN Module?

I used the Intel 6200 as a replacement wifi card. It is way better than the stock one I had.

Where did you buy the card from? and was it a straight forward install?

I purchased mine on ebay for around $20. Its pretty straight forward, just open the hard drive panel and you can see it. The drivers themselves will be available on asus's website or intel's. I would check to see what you have first. If you have the Atheros card then I would recommend the change. If you have an Intel, you might just want to keep it and see if you can find updated drivers. I have the A1 version.

Would I be better off with the 6200 or the 6300?

    Compare.

Note: The 6200 has two antenna connections. The 6300 has three antenna connections but only two antennas are installed in the G73. Many have used the 6300 with two antennas and some have added an antenna.
