I was about to order the AW m15 r3 but after reading few threads about heating issues and the ram soldered to the motherboard I changed my mind :)) 3000 CAD is to much This laptop is just going to be a second pc to run bot accounts for few RPG games I play. I already own a gaming desktop PC.
Now I can get the g5 with an i5 10th gen and a GTX 1660 ti --8 GB 2×4GB (enough ram for the games I Play) fot CAD 1329 with 3 years premium warranty and the G7 15 with an i7 10th gen --RTX 2060-- 16GB for CAD 1899.
I'm leaning towards the G5 since it will have less issues with heat running an i5 instead of an i7?
I do like the looks of the g7 more and if I could get it with the same specs of the G5 I would buy it instead.
Now to my main question .....will the G5 be able to run Crysis and cook a few eggs at the same time ?

Seriously g5 or g7 what do you guys think?

PS I'm a little concerned about the screen panel on the G5. I noticed the when you fully open the lid the bottom part tends to cover the back fans on the laptop?

The G7 shouldn't run too much hotter, but it's quite a lot more.

Also, if it's just for bot accounts, can't you limit the FPS anyway which reduce heat output? Could also disable turbo boost which will massively reduce CPU temps and shouldn't affect your use case too much.
