    True, but Samsung doesn't sell this directly to the public. From what I've read, the Corsair is identical, but simply rebranded.

    I think if it has this firmware VBM19D1Q, you're good.

    The SSD Drive DOES have TRIM !!!

    I successfully flashed it to VBM19C1Q -Has TRIM

    VBM19D1Q - D stands for DOESN'T ... lol. Ok stands for Dell, but in this case, that version does not have trim, but VBM19C1Q DOES.

    Hmm. 160GB G2 Intel for OS and programs, and 256GB Samsung for media and games.

    Dammit. Must resist.

    Bump for you. Someone buy the SSD before I do something I'll regret.

    And I'm right here in the bay area, quick stop off to my office, and its all yours in less then 30 mins round trip :) lol.

    On a serious note, I am entertaining the idea of just putting the complete system on ebay and seeing what she will bring.

    kind of feeling a bit of buyer's remorse already... but I'll take the 256gb SSD :D
    my new laptop should arrive on friday, so hopefully that and the SSD will eliminate any regret :p
