Yes, I am selling the back cover, its BRAND new, direct from Alienware, never been installed. I got it for my 'cooling' mods I was going to do to the laptop, but I decided to part the system out instead :).

Make me an offer for it, and we'll see if we cant make something work!

"Socket P (478)" Although I have heard people call it socket M ? I guess that means "mobile"

    Officially:
    Package Type: 478-pin Micro-FCPGA
    Socket type: Socket P

$300-$350 is my guess, its worth more in some countries then others. In the US the price is probably the lowest, because its easiest for everyone to get it here.

Does that particular SSD support TRIM or manual garbage collection?

If it does, I honestly think you're selling way too low. Heh.

from my limited research, it does support TRIM
honestly, I don't think the price is too low. I've seen some go as low as $400 and others over $500. There's a few on ebay for ~$400, but I personally wouldn't take the chance because they have zero to 1 feedback. Really, I think the only downside to these is the possibility of no warranty/support from Samsung since they'd probably tell you to contact Dell/AW. If I'm wrong about the warranty stuff, someone please correct me.

Sorry, I dont know about the warranty part of this. Nothing on this says 'dell' so I dont see how they could tell you to go through dell/aw.

I just got it last week, so I'll have to figure out a way to confirm if it has trim or not. Does dell/aw still ship ones that don't do trim /gc ?
