How are CPU idle behavior and temperatures with the Dragon Center software running? An issue I've seen with several MSI laptops (and motherboards for that matter) is that CPU usage will spike every couple of seconds, resulting in inconsistent clock speeds and idle temperatures when the software is running, even if it's in the background.

Have not had that issue. CPU sits idle with usage between 0 and 1 percent while watching it. The newly released MSI center is much better than the older dragon center.

That's great to hear. Couple other questions. 1) Does this model support USB-C charging? 2) Does the active GPU light on the power button intermittently flash between white and orange for seemingly no reason? This is behavior I've observed in other MSI laptops that the GS66 where even if the NVIDIA system tray icon showed that the dGPU was idle, the power button light would indicate some program was using it. It was extremely annoying.

The USB C is only for USB C and displayport, don't believe you can charge it via this port. As for the light, I have not noticed it flashing. However, I primarily used it with Optimus disabled in discrete GPU mode only.
