could you explain, more in depth, your usage of the laptop? when you bought it, condition when bought (new/used/refurbished), etc.? a big worry of mine is that the internals of the laptop will be bad, especially considering the envy line's bad reputation with excess heat.

The notebook itself is in great condition, both internally and externally. I have used it for around a year and a half now. I have never run into any sort of overheating problems and have been careful to monitor the temperature using Speedfan. As far as I know, the original HP Envy 15 had heating issues, notthe HP Envy 13. This past January I sent the notebook in to have the hinges tightened. I am a college student and have used this notebook for typing papers and browsing the web, nothing I would consider heavy use. If you are interested, I can send you additional pictures.

I've got an m11x r1 with 8gb of ram, without a hdd (as I would take my SATA II 256 gb ssd out) and trade it for yours without the hdd. PM me if you will consider and we can work something out.

The HD 4330 will probably play SC2 on low settings; not medium. Also, the 1600x900 resolution will have some impact on game performance compared to a 1366x768 resolution screen, but the Radiance Display is one of the best out there.

My Core i3, HD 5650, 1366x768 screen plays SC2 on medium settings at around 30FPS and struggles when there are too many units on screen. So, I know this from experience.

Please, do not mislead people by saying that you have heard that the Envy 13 can play SC2 pretty well. There's a reason why you brought the Envy 14 to replace the Envy 13. It's because the Envy 13 can barely play games like SC2 or newer games at decent settings. Be honest in this forum.

Yes, there is a reason I purchased the HP Envy 14, and no, it was not for gaming. I do not play video games on my laptop. I had purchased the HP Envy 14 for school but now have learned that I need a Mac. In response to your claim that I was being dishonest, I was not. Read the following post from the HP Envy 13 owners lounge:
My response to Dalamchop's inquiry is and was justified. I do apologize if I came off as misleading.

The HP Envy 13 is still available and now I am throwing in a free HP USB optical drive and a neoprene carrying case. Hit me up if you are interested. Asking $700. Thanks : )

If you read a few more pages in the *Hp Envy 13 Owners Lounge*. You would've seen the following response from a Envy 13 owner.

Saying it plays SC2 "pretty well" in this thread is exaggerating a lot. There is a major difference in FPS from 1366x768 and 1600x900 (even on the Envy 14 with the more powerful HD 5650). timoric only has the 1366x768 screen by the way.

Overclocking the HD 4330 probably wouldn't make any difference in FPS either since it is still an entry-level GPU.
