    150w to 170w, they can comfortably pull 220w with a tdp mod and beat desktop variants. All round solid MXM card from MSI who have now gone the bga route *idiots*

    Yes, it's 150w but it's possible to change the tdp with an spi flasher tool

    Yeah and that gtx 1080 cooler is hard to come by, @matyee you can tdp mod and overclock the gtx 1070 to gtx 1080 levels bro. But if you tdp mod a gtx 1080 it can reach very high levels of performance pushing rtx 2080 laptop like performance but that will produce a load of heat to dissipate too...

    EDIT: Basically what I'm trying to say is that msi did a solid job on these gpu's, they don't tend to have any gpu die issues or vrm issues. They overcompensate with the vrms so people like us can mod the cards :D
