    Hi jerryzago,

    I am from France and I have a default M18x R2 :
    - My two 7970 cards work when i swap them, but not together so I think my crossfire cable is dead
    - My three HDDs are not correctly detected so I think the HDD clip is dead. How can I change the black part of the clip (see here : http://imageshack.com/i/plw3ovYTj) ?

So I could be interested in :
    - 1 * M18x R2 AMD Crossfire Cable
    - 1-2 * M18x R2 HDD plastic clip

    What do you think ?

Hello. Thank you for your interest in my inventory.

For the cable, I haven't used it in about a year now, but I had it in my dual 7970m setup, till both of them died, so it still is available. Considering both your GPUs are fine changing the cable should fix crossfire problems.

Check if your plastic clip is damaged (broken latches - side legs) HDD cable gets loose and noumerous HDD problems arise. I sell a complete connector but in the R2 the white part is a direct fit to the one in the mainboard. No need to replace your black part if its not broken. Inspect the connection and try to fix the cable in place (using tape maybe) till you have a replacement. PM me if you are interested to talk about pricing and details.

I hope I helped you enough.

    Thank you for you answer.

The cards are both detected but only one work at the same time, so i think the crossfire cable will fix the problem.

Can you please PM me for pricing ? I am interested in 1 * crossfire cable and 3 * HDD clips. I live in France.

Ok so I'll take 1 * crossfire cable and 3 * HDD clips.

I'll make the payment in the weekend.

Thank you, Items arrived fast and safely packaged, great service.

Sadly, I broke one HDD clips, and with the second, I realized that the "black part" was broken on my motherboard so even with a new latch, my hdd won't be detected.

My only solution is to solder a complete hdd clip on my MB, but I can't do that on my own.

Another solution is to buy a msata hard drive.

I didn't try the crossfire cable yet.

    That is surely superfast delivery!

Can you find a local technitian to replace the whole connector? It won't cost much and it would be better than fixing it yourself.

I also got an msata when my latch was broken, because I had BSOD all the time without any possible reason. My OS sits on the msata now.

If you don't want to mess around your mainboard, get an msata for your laptop and a USB3.0 2TB hard drive, but I wouldn't recomend that. It defeats the purpose of having a laptop.

Searh for a local technitian for assistance.

I didn't find local technician to replace the whole connector, but I realize the sata connector was dead.

    Sata connector :

So I bought a 256 GB msata and install Windows 10 on it.

With my cable, I couldn't enable crossfire, with yours, I can enable crossfire, but I have flickering in games ... :(

I must disabled crossfire to play games, but I would love to enjoy my 7970M crossfire again.

Try swapping the GPUs one last time. Maybe the cable is loose. Just to be sure, try latest drivers and see if the game has crossfire support. Also adjust the crossfire behaves. I cannot remember the actual setting, but it it there. I remember in my setup, most of the times, Crossfire was behaving weird on non compative games.

I swapped the cards and confirm that they both worked.

Now back to the start, I can't enable crossfire anymore ...

I was very cautions with the cable, it's really very bad quality.

    So I'm stuck with single 7970M :(
