Hi its a MSI MS 16f2 GTX 570M. As far as I know it should be compatible with:
    msi :1761(GX780 / GT780 / GT780DX) & 16F21(GX680 / GT683 / GT683DX / GX660DX)

    Clevo: X511 / X711 / X7200 / X8100

    DELL: M15X & M17X

and probably with other notebooks out there...

You can ask one of the cracks here, but I think they will give you the same answer. Basically you can plug it in, install new driver and use it.
When the installation is not working, just look into my post:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/msi/660922-gtx-580m-not-recognised.html#post8495539
I had a problem with gtx 580m and solved it in 1h (15min work basically the rest searching on net) :D

hmm... that a good question. What GraKa do you have atm?
I know that you can upgrade NVIDIA GTX 260M and 460M and 560M etc.
Do you mean: MSI GT683R with Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M?
    That will work...

ok for MSI GT683R, as this is only a MS 16f2 with more blinky LEDs and different sound as far as I remember, you can open it and change the graphic card w/o any issue.
The 560M is definitely compatible with the 570M. It is most probable, that you won´t have any issues with the driver at all, as the 570M was plugged out of a MS 16f2 originally.
You can overclock the 570M very nicely using MSI afterburner (to higher values than 580M). For testing the stability you can use MSI kombustor.

    Cheers
    Jakub

Hey I am interested but need to think about it.
Got a GT780DXR that is supposed to have a GTX570m already but doesn't anymore since I sent it for repair for RAM issues. They changed it for a GT555m and I'm gonna sue them for that. Happened with MSI France and my laptop got repaired in Poland, guess one of the guys there didn't want his GT555m anymore...
Anyway, I'll keep an eye on your thread.

Hi the heatsink is not included as I needed it for my own 16f2 and for the 580M I plugged in. The sink can be bought easily here:
MSI Barebone (Whitebook) And MSI Brand Notebook-Laptop Replacement Fans And Heatsinks
Btw: a new 570M costs $489.99 on the same page...

    250USD anyone?

    @Nounouf:
    Sorry to hear that!
The MSI GT780DXR-425FR (as I assume you have that one) should have GTX 570M included.
When it shows GT555M then you got scammed :(
Hope it resolves soon and they will change it back!
