    I think this quote from the top of the article explains the apparent cognitive dissonance:
    In other words, if the only thing that mattered was building a car that lasted no more than three months, plus a day, then these cars would be the top of the line - too bad that, at least for most people, cars have to last just a wee bit longer than that.:D
