During restart, Control Center (HotKey) and it's dependents (Flexikey/GPU Overclocking/CPU Memory OC) fail to load and an on screen message states the program needs a PC restart.

This well known issue is several years old and all over online forums. The suggested fixes so far have all been ineffective and temporary:

1- Restart the PC repeatedly. Rarely works but when it does, there is a very high probability the problem will return on the next startup, and near guaranteed to eventually return on a future startup.

2- Uninstall Control Center and reinstall the newest Control Center version for your model. This method usually works but when it does, there is a very high probability the problem will return on OS/hardware updates or eventually on startup.

    Found a permanent fix:

    1- Power Options
2- Choose what the power buttons do
3- Change settings that are currently unavailable
4- Disable (Turn on fast startup)
5- Shut down PC (Do not restart, it won't work)
    6 - Power on

Control Center and it's dependents will all now properly load on startup, and the error message is gone for good.

PC startup is significantly faster as well.

This is how clevo works. You get barebones notebook with broken software.

Edited original post to reply to this question. Also fixed it to reflect that it fixes the entire Control Center (Hotkey) and it's dependents, not just Flexikey.

I had issues with CCC (I think) as well. I’ve deleted lines from the registry key which helped but finally just decided to delete CCC all together and adjust everything else via the windows power settings utility. Just mad I can’t control my fans or change my keyboard color from blue to anything else lol.

True you can't force the different fan modes without CCC but you can still go back and forth between max fan and auto without it while using the FN+1 combo at least on my model P751. If CCC ever gives me any problems that is likely what I will do. Keyboard lights not changable is my bigger issue without CCC.

Not the first time fast startup has caused problems with something that's supposed to be active on launch. Better to just turn it off the first time you boot up and be done with it.

Your Fn+1 trick just blew my @$(&” mind. Now the blue lights are just asthetic.

So uh... anyone know how to change the key board lights without CCC? Lol
