Fingerprint reader....is it worth it?

    you can get the fingerfox add on for firefox and the reader works just fine.

    OR, you can get ie tabs. Since the FP reader primarily works with Internet Explorer, ie tabs convert the thingy to IE so the FP works great.

    LOL uhhh wow.. I AM surprised! Man, you know how you read a post, and you think.. say what? This person must not have a clue about ...(whatever they asked about) Looks like I'm the ignorant one here. Can't wait to start fiddling. Thanks all for the firefox suggestions. I do have ie tab, but maybe I'll try out fingerfox..

    Weird...I can't seem to install FingerFox (se) into my Firefox 3 (it says it's compatible too) Do you have Firefox 3?

    Download it from the fingerfox website, the version available from the firefox add-on site hasnt been updated yet to support firefox 3.

    Does it work pretty flawlessly? 'Cause I've set up my login pages only for the ie tab to switch and it works GREAT.. now wondering if I should even bother with FingerFox?

    Personally, I havent used it much since FF isnt my main browser but have heard that it is a bit slow since fingerfox acts as a middle man between the fingerprint reader & firefox.

    1. how do i use it for the permission things? say im trying to install something and that window pops up with "cancel" or "allow". i'd like to use the finger on that ;)

    2. also i'd like to finger certain folders.:) is that possible?
