Just got my Studio 15 today. So far so good. I thought Firefox was not compatible with the finger print reader, so far it's working for me with over 25 passwords already. My only concern so far is the keyboard flex!''

I plan on getting a studio 15. How bad is the flex and where are the areas inflicted?

How hard are you pushing on the keyboard to make it flex? Are you an extremely hard typist? I have no flex on my S15.

If that's your only problem, I wouldn't complain!

The flexing is in the middle of the keyboard between the t and the i. I'll just learn to be a little lighter when typing. Other than that it's a great machine so far.

Well, sorry I pointed that out to you. It bugs me too but I'll get used to it since I guess it's normal.

Don't all Dell laptops use pretty much the same keyboards? The XPS has like zero flex on the keyboard.

To be honest on most laptops the majority of people wouldn't even notice there was any flex if they didn't get told by somebody that is was there. It's no big deal if there is some, and as I say most people won't notice until they are told.

Plus any keyboard is gunna flex if you are purposely trying to test it by pushing down hard.
