I have a student loan through Wachovia, and I never used all of the funds. My account says "Wachovia Education Finance-serviced Balance" is still over 1,000. Is there any way to withdraw this and use it? I don't see any way to do that on the site.

I suppose I can try, though I thought the ATM only linked to my checking/savings account. I use a seperate login for this loan, and I can't even find an account number on here to use to transfer funds. So weird.

You would have to do it through a Wachovia ATM ... trust me

When you got to the withdraw option there should be more options versus another ATM

They may have to issue you a check or electronically transfer the funds.

Check with your financial aid office or your student account. At my university loan disbursements are sent directly to the school and anything left over is passed along to the student via mailed check or electronic transfer. This is how I paid for my off campus housing.

After she does that, what is she going to do with the other $999.98?
