i've done checking the ribbon, now all keys wont work! jezuz!
isn't there an alternative way to enable the wireless in this? my keyboard now really is useless..
IIRC you can set the wireless adapter to be 'always on' in the BIOS. You can also run the 'Broadcom Wireless Utility' from the Control Panel.
there's no such option in my m6805's bios to always enable the wireless.. do I need to reflash my bios?
also I've tried the broadcom wireless utility and whenever I enable it, it shows that the wireless radio on my computer is disabled or turned off.
olyteddy, thank you so much for your input, I did reflash to the latest bios firmware and guess what! RF control is in the bios! now my wireless is working like a charm. thank you so much!
hi guys... i'm back. i now have a new problem. after using this laptop for several days after i got the wireless working. now is a new story. it won't turn on at all. here's the scenario. The laptop turned it self off, then the power light on the bottom part of the keyboard won't lit up at all. when you unplug the power adapter, then plug it back in, it will lit for a couple of seconds then goes off. basically, the laptop isn't getting power at all. any advises? thanks!
I would check the power brick before anything else, they are notoriuos for suddenly deciding to quit working, Thats why there are so many on sale in ebay
ummm what does a power brick looks like?
It looks like the block between your wall power and the notebook input power
