Does anyone have a list of laptops that can use an external graphics amplifier?

    I was able to find
    MSI GS30 Shadow
    Alienware Amplifier
    Razer Core

Can't find anything else? Also anyone know of a GS30 Shadow refresh?

the laptops that can use the most powerrful EGPU

Will have a thunderbolt 3 interface

And they will use thunderbolt 3 enclosures.

And the only one that you listed is going to use the
    RAZER CORE

which will be the first one for sale soon at 500$

the other 2 are much slower bandwidth and technologically almost useless for a modern laptop

The GS30 dock is actually extremely fast, idk about the Alienware one but the GS30 has a full speed 32GB/s connection according to their site, that's faster than thunderbolt 3.

No thats 40 Gb/s. GB/s is Gigabytes per second, Gb/s is Gigabits per second, which is 1/8 of a byte.

I do not believe that msi has a cable capable of more v
Bandwidth than thunderbolt 3 they are hiding from the world.

The pci 16 in their advertising just means the card is a pci x 16

All of these seem to use pcie x16 cards at x4

Alienware runs at PCIe 3.0 x4 for the latest Alienware laptops. This is essentially the same as TB3
No, it's literally PCIe x16. I'd look into the laptop first before doubting otherwise; reviews may be a good go-to source. The whole back of the GS30 is one big port of PCIe lanes (the Alienware laptops have a smaller one because it carries less lanes).
    .
I thought there was going to be an GS40 that has a GTX 960m and compatibility with the Gaming Docks that are compatible with the GS30. Could someone else verify? It might be a rumor, but still.
