So after a nice session of @Phoenix Magic (thanks again for all the help, tips & advice), the systems runs faster and with a lot less clutter :)

One of the speed test we ran should greatly interest @Papusan ;)

I'm currently looking into an issue I'm having with Crystal Disk Mark on Writes, but the read numbers did look promising.I'll post a screenshot as soon as I figure out the issue :)

If it's that same freeze we encountered, either disable the Write Back Cache or just stick to AS SSD

Indeed same crash and it’s the Write Back Cache that is causing it. I played with setting on and off and it caused a hang at preparing for Write test every time. Faster Reads when enabled though as you saw (4KIB Q1T1 goes up above 40MB/s)...

Here's the latest test (with Volatile Volume Cache mode set to off):

What are the temperature of gpu and the processor when you're gaming for a considerable amount of time?
And please do tell the Ambient temperature too.

but the thing is, AS SSD is not causing any bugs so I'm not sure that the Write Cache Bug is what's causing it. Like I've used Write Back Cache for almost 3 years with 0 issues.

@Gursimran82956 I've finally had a some time to game. After 3 hours (2 hours of Total Warhammer 2 followed by an hour of Overwatch, both on ultra settings), these are the numbers I have. Ambient temp is 22 degrees Celsius. Also note that the fans never went full blast during my session, max was about 60%. I have no external fans (yet, planning on modding a Cooler Master Cooling pad at one point), but I've raised the laptop slightly to let more airflow in the bottom intakes.

I'll be doing more intensive CPU/GPU and will update with new numbers then.

I also suggest you check out this youtube video with a review of the machine where you'll get a few info on thermals:

I had HIDevolution do all the delid, pasting + vapor chambers and the CPUs are overclocked to 4.9Ghz.

Those temps are insane for a 4.9GHz taptop man! Talk about a quality build! congrats!

You're asking the wrong person bro. I didn't own a Clevo laptop since more than a year so I can't tell you that. But from my past experience, adding another 1080GTX didn't bring the temps up much higher with that Vapor Chamber heatsink.

Also note that a Dual GTX 1080 is only great for benchmarks, not a lot of games these days have proper SLI support or even if they do, they don't scale that well.

But I always go for SLI if I had the choice, because bragging rights...:rolleyes:
