Event ID 129 and HDD short freeze driving me nuts

    If you install the Intel Chipset Drivers with the -overall command, it will overwrite the IRST Driver and reinstall the AHCI driver

    It never happened to me. I don't think skylake IRST driver is included.
    Even on my pentium machine it didn't install anything.
    I did have a intel 3 series board that needed AHCI/IDE intelide.inf or something.

    If one installed the IRST driver on his machine even though he's not in RAID mode, if you then install an updated Intel Chipset Driver via the -overall command, it overwrites the IRST Driver and reinstalls the latest AHCI Driver.

    Never happened to me when I used 10.1.1.42 couple of months ago with overall cmd line switch.
