Haris M I: Hi, my name is Haris M I. How may I help you?
    Haris M I: Hi, Rob.
Haris M I: From the serial number provided, I see that the computer is out of warranty. Let me see what best can be done for you today.
Haris M I: Could you please elaborate on the issue?
Rob Walker: I have an eMachine E627 laptop that I purchased in Dec 2009. I'm wanting to know how to unplug the ribbon from the keyboard to the motherboard without damaging anything. i dont see any hinges or levers to allow it to be pulled free.
Haris M I: Thank you for the information.
Haris M I: Rob, I understand that you need assistance in removing keyboard connections from the motherboard.
    Rob Walker: yes
Rob Walker: im replacing the keyboard
Haris M I: Thank you for confirming the issue.
Haris M I: In this case, I suggest you contact a local technician . He will assist you with the issue. as we does not recommend to replace the parts by the end user.
Haris M I: Rob. I would suggest you contact a local computer retailer, they will help you in finding a local technician

Rob Walker: i am not willing to pay a tech $150 for this when the laptop was purchased for $200 from Walmart. im just going to pull it out if you wont help me then
    Rob Walker: thanks for nothing
Haris M I: I do understand your concern. Unfortunately, this is the best that I can do for you.
    Haris M I: However.
Haris M I: I will help you with the user guide.
Rob Walker: ive replaced key boards before on other laptops. im not a fool. i dont need any help with the frigging users guide.
Haris M I: Unfortunately, I do not have any other options available for you.
Haris M I: I apologize for any inconvenience.
    Rob Walker: worthless.... goodbye

Okay I just died there :D

I had to contact eMachine support too few days ago for a friend who wanted to replaced the keyboard as you.. The problem is I were not able to find the keyboard :D I mean new to buy from any place, not even ebay. And the guy over at support said the same to me, take it to a local shop.. They don't even talk Norwegian only Sweedish. I returned the laptop to my friend and said I was sorry but he bought a crappy laptop.. And that is right too, there is 0 quality in those laptops.

I don't think they want to be responsible if anything goes wrong.
