    Hi All,

I recently purchased a Mech 15 G2R with 1660TI and i7 8850H cpu. I noticed that when I'm playing a game that's not graphically intensive like pathfinder kingmaker. My cpu temp will be in the mid 80 (85 to 87C), while GPU is sitting around mid to low 60s. Does this seem normal? If it's a graphic intense game I get that the CPU temp should be higher but this isn't exactly next gen graphics here. I have no obstruction on any of the fans, which are running super loud.

My question is, is this normal range for the load or is there something off here?

It might be a CPU intensive game so the CPU usage would ramp up. Temps are still fine though

I would not exactly call Pathfinder Kingmaker to be not graphically intensive. It's a game with 3d graphics like any other 3d game, a good amount of textures loaded, particle effects, etc. I'd say that's normal. If the game has some sort of fps cap setting you could try setting that to maybe 30 or something. If not, you can try turning on v-sync.

EDIT: But if it's CPU bound, then look if there's settings like physics/cloth/hair simulation that you can turn off. If there's settings for the particle effects, set them to low.
