I see that on a technical level, TB3 is capable of feeding up to 100W to a laptop, which is probably enough for anything not running a discrete GPU. But I wasn't sure that all eGPUs took advantage of this. The only good documentation I can find is PowerColor noting their eGPU can feed up to 60W, but it's easy to envision a quad core system at full load drinking up more than that. In such a case, would the battery slowly start to drain?
