During my search for the perfect laptop, I stumbled on the EasyNote MB85-P-009. I really like the specs:

    Windows Vista™ Home Premium
    2.6 kg
    2.0 GHz
    Mobile Intel® Core®2 Duo T7300
    160 GB SATA
    NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600
    Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n (KEDRON)
    2048 MB DDR2
    HDMI (HDCP support)

But I'm not really familiar with the brand. I did some research and found some negative reviews about the Easynote range in general. But it's been said that people take the time to post negative things, while when they are happy about it they don't think anything about it. So maybe it isn't as bad?

    Opinions?

    Hi Inspired911,

Those specs are certainly impressive, it's a very good-looking laptop in my opinion, and the great thing about Packard Bell is that their prices are usually very good.

As for the Packard Bell brand, all I can do is offer my own experience. In my search for the perfect laptop (which ended happily with the one in my signature!) I tried a modestly-specced, low-priced EasyNote MV46-008. For a budget laptop, its performance was great, and the build quality was excellent: the laptop was compact, sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and pleasant to use. I didn't keep it because I wasn't completely happy with the screen. That's not to say that it was particularly poor - I suffer from migraines so having an excellent screen was my top priority, and unfortunately I just didn't get on with the PB's display. Overall, though, it was a super little laptop.

I hope this helps a bit. Good luck in your laptop search! :)
