Ok, a while back i set up dual boot with my windows 7 and xp pro for certian software i need to run. lately ive needed to load the Nexiq USB Link on it and it will only read from C: the way it tries to load... i was told at one time theres a way of making files seem like they are reading from a C: even though they are on an E:

is there a way of doing this??? ive searched and haven't found much of anything on it...

There is. It involves modifying the ini files for the ProLink II software to point the E: drive on initial setup as opposed to C drive. But I haven't dealt with Nexiq for years, so I can't give you any other specifics.

Ok, figured out a way around this ...virtual machine in Windows7.... Registers as the C: drive and works great
