What kind of battery life are you guys seeing on your dv6000t using the following batteries:

    Standard 6-cell
    Extended 6-cell
    12-cell

Standard 6-cell: @ 1 1/2 hrs. with full brightness and wireless

If I needed to be away from an outlet, I would certainly get the 12-cell.

    Hi All,

I got my HP dv6000t last month. Recently I started temp monitoring and I am seeing that my GPU and HDD temperature are alway around 48C-54C** while my CPU temp is around 33C-40C**. The fan starts in full throttle when GPU reaches 54C and it go in low mode when temp comes down to 48C.

**These temp. are recored when I am doing nothing special but browsing intenet.

I am considering dv6000t (T7200) with 2G rams from Costco (with customer configuration). But, I know dv6000t had a high pitch sound problem. Do you guys know if this problem is resolved and all dv6000t series are safe from it?
