I'm actually not sure if manual switching is available in the current graphics release; you will need to ask one of the owners here if this feature still works.

Or, you can install the current release now and see for yourself. :)

Try these - this driver is listed on the dv6-6000 page:

Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver HP Pavilion dv6t-6000 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

I'll put these up on the first post.

    EDIT: Added.

    • Updated Ralink / Motorola Bluetooth + High-Speed Adapter driver to version 3.0.42.298.

FYI, I lost backlight control with the latest BIOS on my DV7t-6000 in Linux. Still works in Windows.

Thanks, finding the drivers on the HP website was a hassle as it were, I'm subscribing to this thread jic I need them in the future.

btw, is anyone having an issue with 3D applications not using the whole screen properly. Some games show up with a black sometimes gray border like an inch or so thick on the right side of the screen, i've been trying to find a fix like crazy. This is especially annoying in 3Ds max as it shows up in all view ports.

this is on the sandy bridge envy with the 6630m btw.

Thanks, this has been quite useful. However, I am having some trouble with my bluetooth. Before I installed a clean copy of Windows 7, my bluetooth was working fine--I connected the envy and my palm pre via bluetooth and was able to stream audio from my phone to my envy. Now that I have reinstalled Windows, my computer and phone find each other but cannot do anything else. There are no services listed when I right click my phone and go to properties. Any idea what might be causing this? Is there a driver I need to install?
