    Hi All

On the DV6-6026tx (a model in Australia), the Realtek flash card reader is in fact a PCIE model requiring the PCIE drivers and not the USB 2.0 drivers as listed.

I'm not sure if this is only in respect of the DV6's in Australia but I would surprised if this is the case.

Yes, this is a known issue that I need to mention/fix on the first post.

dv6-4XXX and dv7-5XXX series: use the Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader driver.
dv6-6XXX and dv7-6XXX series: use the Realtek PCIe Card Reader driver.

I was wondering since my DV6T-4000 doesn't have the switchable graphics option do I really need to wait for an updated graphics driver from HP? Why can't I just download them from AMD.com in which the latest version is from 05/09/2011...

You can download off AMD if your model is not an switchable with Intel.

There is a warning on AMD site, that their drivers doesn't support those. Reason, AMD cannot legally package the Intel Drivers with theirs.

Just a question, will the last drivers for the intel HD / Radeon enable the dynamic switching on my first gen dv6 ?
I'd like to update the drivers but keep my manual switching

    Thanks
