Driver Issue with Windows 7 / CF30 cold boots

    Well, I finally figured this out! It is these freaking Crucial MX100 SSDs! I started loading the same laptops with 1TB and 2TB mechanical disks, and the problem went away!

    Some of the laptops with MX100 SSDs would "fix" themselves after a period of time & various restart/shutdowns for no apparent reason. Other ones would never "fix" themselves... But I'm glad I solved the mystery, so I'm posting this year in case anyone else runs into this problem. I'm going back to my SanDisk SSDs now. Oh yea, Crucial can kiss my a$$.... I've spent countless hours on this friggin' problem.

    Check the firmware for the SSD's that worked vs the ones that didn't work to see if it's the same or a updated firmware.

    But if they came in at different times the firmware may be different from the factory.
