Hi, I bought an Acer Aspire a couple of months ago, as I live in Spain it was in Spanish, my friend "Cracked" it and it is now all in English, my problem is he had to wipe everything off and now I have to use a white Wi-Fi "Ariel" plugged into one of my USB ports. Is it possible for me to download a Wi-Fi driver back onto my laptop so I dont need to use this ugly "Ariel", thanks.

You'll have to download Launch Manager and a Wi-Fi driver for your particular model from Acer support website.

Launch Manager is Acer's software that controls those extra buttons and combos on your notebook- that includes Wi-Fi on/off switch so you need to have it installed for Wi-Fi to start.
Use this Acer app that recognizes your hardware to check which Wi-Fi driver do you need.

Does the Wi-Fi device show in Device Manager (under networking devices)?
If your notebook has a Wi-Fi on/off switch use it- otherwise see if Fn+F2 or Fn+F3 enables Wi-Fi.

What Acer notebook is it exactly?

Wait- so you didn't install those?
Unpack the drivers and run setup.exe (the same for Launch Manager)
