No and why "slick"? Does anyone have these? There are only like two manufactures of Touch pads I think in all the major laptops

I think he means "slick" feeling. I know that MB and Surface products are smoother to the touch than the dell. I fixed this issue by use. My touch pad on my 13 5000 2 in 1 is now smooth. ha ha. Just took a month or so to do it. I love the dell machines. Probably the best computers available now.

    Yes correct, "slick feel"

I have had tried a few newer laptops and hate that rough kinda feel of the touchpad and hate how the left/right click seem to be a bit higher from the edge.

For example I have an old Dell 1555 Studio, LOVE THAT feel!!!!!

Yeah....use the new dells and after awhile they will "slick up"! ha ha...You may want to get a new Microsoft device like the book or new laptop if you want the "slick feel" right from new!

Yeah...they are down right 80 grit compared to the Microsoft glass touch pads tho. But personally I love my 2 dells.
