Video on other sites is usually pretty good for me.

But on CBS.com I get a blurry picture for a few seconds every minute or so. There is no choppiness or skipping of frames.

Could this be a processor issue, internet connection issue, or crappy video player on CBS.com?

Are there any adjustments I could make to the player?

I usually get all the HD bars on the player. Even when all the bars are there, it becomes blurry.

    I have an i5 processor.

CBS has a crappy resource hog of a video player and poor video quality. It is not your system. I have emailed them and complained but it had no effect. Hulu has the better player and it is less of a resource hog. But CBS shows are sent to CBS and you get the garbage video. Fancast will show some of the CBS shows on there player and it has better video quality but will take more bandwidth than hulu. I just took a look at survivor on fancast and it looked clear.

Awesome. Thank you. The Fancast player might be better than Hulu.

Is Fancast authorized to show those videos like Hulu is or is a pirate site that just looks good?

I believe Fancast is owned by Comcast. I have a wireless modem on 3g for my web so my opinions are based on which sites will work with limited bandwidth. Hulu has always used the least bandwidth and there quality is pretty good. There are other sites that show tv shows and they are not pirates. Hulu has started the Hulu plus charge program and in doing so is purchasing rights to be the first or only user allowed to show certain shows on the web. This is obviously the result of a few capitalists seeing that people have quit spending money on the likes of Time Warner and thinking that people will flock to them and spend money on what was previously free. It is a lousy service and I am not willing to throw money at it. I consider these people the pirates.
