Y570 has no expresscard slot. It does have a pci-e 2.0 capable mPCIe (wifi) slot which could be used to host a DIY eGPU. You may have other pci-e mPCIe slots. The way to tell is to swap the wifi into those slots and see if it registers in Device Manager. Refer to the following links for details on a mPCIe 2.0 DIY eGPU implementation using a PE4L-PM060A 2.1b.

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here has tried eGPU with Quadro or Firepro cards.

It would be nice to has additional professional GPU for VT-d purposes.

Hi guys. The other day I was trying to get a screen working and it freezes and black screens every time I try to plug the screen into the card. Then the various compaction methods started failing too. Not sure what's going on. It tells me to try use a different compaction, but none of them are working.
Still getting the Vector probe error too. I figured I should be booting with the windows 7 bootloader and not the mbr. How exactly would one edit in the correct line to tell it to boot from the correct place? can someone give me an example of what this would look like?
    Thank you again.

Can someone please kindly walk me through how to fix error code 12? I saw the FAQ and one of the method's was a DSDT override, but even with the video tutorial I'm having trouble figuring it out. I have no experience with using cmd :(

Does any one know the process of getting the DIYeGPU-Setup-110b5 (AKA egpu setup 1.x) software from HIT after you have purchased the PE4H from them?

I have emailed them twice with no reply from them...

I am stuck with an error 12 and am dead without it.

Also come back nando4. We love you!!! (I mean it)

You should receive an e-mail with a download-ID link for the Setup 1.X.
If you've e-mailed them in the weekend, that's quite normal you weren't answered yet.

Hello, I would like to know (before I start with this) what would be the best I can get (and get to work) for a Lenovo Thinkpad T410i 2537 and if it make sense to do it. Main purpose would be, as it should, gaming.

    Thanks!
